ShoutWiki is live!

The ShoutWiki staff have been busy improving our sites for the last few days.

It is safe to say that we have left the “hidden in the basement” stage of development and stepped into the public with our “beta site“, that we call the “Hub”. It will serve the role of a central wiki for the coordination of all sites – it is the site to look for feature documentation, staff contact details and support.

It is also the place to start your own wiki, if you wish to. If you don’t want to start a wiki, you can browse the list of ShoutWiki-hosted wikis and join an existing one!

In addition to English, ShoutWiki Hub is available in Finnish (Suomi) and Dutch (Nederlands) — so come and join us today!

If you have any questions, don’t hesistate to ask! ShoutWiki offers many different ways of communication, ranging from traditional e-mail to IRC channels and more

Beta is here!

Hey all! The main page of our site is now open for viewing, check it out on shoutwiki.com now.

We’re in a limited beta phase right now, meaning that a selected group of users have access to the site for testing purposes. These beta-testers will ensure that everything works properly before we open up the whole site for everyone.

We hope to launch the site in summer 2009 for the rest of the world.

If you would like us to host your wiki or you have some questions about the service, give us a shout at support@shoutwiki.com.

I hope to see you on the wiki!
